Tretinoin - Stops the development of new acne lesions (Comedones) and encourages cell turnover, unplugging pimples.

Systemic medications to treat acne – Depending on the type of acne various systemic drugs can be prescribed.

A 35 year old lady presented with severe Facial Acne
She had history of Acne, Acne scars and Pigmentation on her skin. She had tried Laser treatment earlier but results were not satisfactory.
At Define Aesthetics on examination it was found that she had Pustular and Nodular Acne Vulgaris. Skin was extremely ioly and sensitive. New eruptions were mainly occurring in Pre-menstrual phase.
